Where function meets design

This customer project was all about the interior design of construction machinery. The specific requirement: production of plastic cladding parts to protect against possible injuries caused by mobile vehicle technology. Important: the cladding was to restrict the freedom of movement of the driver as little as possible and ensure the best possible ergonomics.

We used large radii and free-form surfaces for the 3D design to create a harmonious but also functional design. In this early design phase of a thermoforming product, we succeeded in optimally combining the function factor with the design factor.
